POLICIES

To make your stay as comfortable as possible, we would like to supply you this information:  

Self Check-in Procedures: 
– The key pad code will be sent 48 hours before your arrival. No requirement to notify the host.  

Respect for the Neighbourhood: 
– Rowdy behaviour, especially excessive noise to inconvenience the neighbours or other cottagers will not be tolerated  

Communication Style: – The host is available for communication everyday from 9 am till 9pm daily  

Pets Clause: 
– We do not allow pets in the cottages. 

Sheets, Towels and Linens:
– We do not supply sheets, towels or linens. 

Cancellation Policy: 
– The guest will adhere to the cancellation policy dictated by the booking platform at the time of booking. For direct cottage bookings through our website, Moderate Cancellation Policy: 100% refund up to 30 days before arrival, 50% refund up to 14 days before arrival. You can also receive a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours of booking.

Payment Policy: 
– For direct cottage bookings through our website we will bill your credit card for 50% upon reserving and the balance 60 days before your arrival. If you are reserving dates which have an arrival of 60 days or less, we will bill your credit card 100% at the time of booking. 

Promotional Photo Permission:  
– All guests at our resort could may be photographed or filmed throughout the season for marketing purposes. By staying at our resort, you consent to being filmed or photographed. If you do not consent, simply inform the photographer/videographer and they will not include you in any future promotional material.

During your stay:  
– Please take your shoes off to protect the floors. 
– Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage, but smoking is permitted outside
– Number of people on-site must adhere with the amount of people listed in the booking.
– Please try to conserve water to respect the environment and protect the cistern and septic system. 

After your Stay:  
– Please ensure the cottage is left in a respectable state upon your departure including: dishes being washed, garbage being taken out and surfaces wiped down.  

Zero Liability Clause:  
– The host will not be liable for anything that happens before, during or after your stay. Not limited to: damages to vehicles, theft of items, slips and trips, water issues, weather etc. It is difficult to give refunds for items that are out of our control.  

We strive to be leaders in Waterfront Hospitality. If there is anything you are unsatisfied with, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can make it right! FISHING TIPS

Get your line in the water!

Rent a boat or cast off our dock, there is some great fishing at Catch More Resort and all along the Trent River and Trent-Severn Waterway System.

Large Mouth Bass:
– Shallow to mid depth lakes, which contain a variety of vegetation, submerged logs and forms of cover are favoured by largemouth.

Small Mouth Bass:
– Clear water especially in rivers, streams with rocky, or sandy cooler areas with sand and clean water.

Northern Pike:
– Pike spawn early in spring after ice-out in shallow, weedy, marshy areas of lakes and streams. 

Walleye:
– Walleye spawn in the early spring along windswept rocky shores-lines and shoals of the main lake over the rock/rubble riverbeds. 

Muskellunge:
– The fish of 10,000 casts, better be ready for the fight, as 49+ inch live nearby

The Trent River is a river in southeastern Ontario which flows from Rice Lake to empty into the Bay of Quinte on Lake Ontario. This river is part of the Trent-Severn Waterway which leads to Georgian Bay. The river is 90 kilometres (56 mi) long. The Trent drains a large portion of south-central Ontario, including most of the Kawartha Lakes and their supplying watersheds.

The river is host to numerous species of birds, amphibians and fish. Some species of fish in the river are: Smallmouth bass, Largemouth bass, Pike, Walleye, Freshwater drums, Crappie as well as other smaller fish such as Sunfish, Rock Bass and Bluegill.
